Photography comes from the Greek words phos (“light”), and graphis (“stylus”, “paintbrush”) or graphí ~ put together, it basically means "Painting With Light". I have always loved "Painting With Light", and I cannot remember a point in my life when I did not have a camera in hand.

I won't say I wasted time with my life's path before photography because those years shaped me into the person I am today, and I honestly like that person! That said, it took me over thirty years to realize that I was unhappy with my life choices and that I wanted to do photography full-time!

I obtained my photography degree at the Stellenbosch Institute of Photography & Multimedia Studies over the course of two years. Since then, I have worked extremely hard to make a name for myself in the photography industry. I hope when you look at my portfolio, you say: "Yes, you're the photographer I want to book!" because I want to be your "forever photographer". One of the first to meet your newborn baby. The one who will instigate tickle-fights and blow bubbles with your toddler. The one who will capture the way your husband looks at you after 12 years of marriage, still with a twinkle in his eye. Trust me with those moments, and I will bless you with the magic of forever memories!

Some facts about me: I love dogs, coffee, and reading. I am a self-confessed chocolate addict (especially Lindt and Ferrero Rocher)! I enjoy building puzzles, investigating new technology, and making new friends. I am not a morning person, but the one thing that will get me up is a great photoshoot!
